Product proof is the visual demonstration of a product actively performing within real cooking scenarios. Rather than talking about the product or simply showing it on screen, the video captures multiple moments where the product is clearly driving the cooking result.
This may include applying a seasoning and watching rich color develop on a dish, seeing a knife slice cleanly through multiple ingredient types, or using specific cookware to achieve a consistent, high-quality sear. The goal is for viewers to immediately understand how the product performs through visible cooking results.
Across ongoing production, videos highlight different use cases, cooking techniques, and unexpected applications. This allows viewers to repeatedly see the product delivering successful results in a variety of situations.
This consistent on-screen performance builds familiarity, trust and confidence in the product.
Production begins by selecting a monthly cooking video package and submitting the production inquiry form.
The form gathers essential information such as the products you’d like featured, along with any brand priorities, constraints or guidelines. This ensures production is aligned with the product and the brand before execution begins.
Once the details are reviewed and product logistics are coordinated, production is scheduled and the first concepts are prepared.
Creative concepts are developed around the most effective ways the product can be used during cooking.
Each video highlights clear moments where the product is applied and directly tied to the cooking result that follows. In some cases, a single video may show multiple applications of the product to demonstrate different use cases.
Concept ideas are shared prior to filming for review. Brands are encouraged to provide input or request adjustments, though concept development is primarily handled by me to keep production simple and efficient.
Production operates within a monthly cycle that begins once the retainer is activated.
Filming, editing, and revisions take place throughout the cycle, with finalized videos delivered at various points depending on filming schedules and product logistics.
Revision rounds apply to each delivered video and are completed after delivery, regardless of where the video falls within the production cycle.
Each delivered video includes up to two structured revision rounds. Revision requests should be submitted within 14 days of delivery so adjustments can be completed within the active production cycle.
All packages include full commercial usage rights for the finalized videos. Brands may use the content across paid advertising, organic social media, websites, email campaigns, sales materials, and other brand-owned marketing channels.
Videos may not be resold, sublicensed, or transferred to third parties without a separate licensing agreement. Raw footage and project files are not included unless separately agreed in writing.
Month-to-month retainers may be ended at the conclusion of the active production cycle.
If a multi-month commitment (such as a three-month agreement) is selected, the full production term is honored as agreed.
